PRESCHOOL MINISTRY

Preschoolers, from babies to kindergarteners, are offered many opportunities for learning together. On Sunday mornings, Sunday School is offered at 9:45 a.m. to provide all ages with Bible learning experiences. We use the LifeWay curriculum as we seek to lay biblical foundations in the life of every child. Also on Sunday mornings, extended session is offered during our morning worship service at 11:00 for babies through kindergarteners.

On Wednesday evenings, (During the school year) a preschool choir is offered for ages 3 - 6 years to introduce them to musical expression. Preschool choirs meet at 6:30 p.m. followed by Mission Friends at 7:00 p.m. During Mission Friends, preschoolers are introduced to mission action and the work of Baptist missionaries. Childcare is offered for infants, toddlers and two's during the Wednesday evening programs.

GRADES 1 - 5

Our ministry for children in grades 1-5 seeks to continue to lay biblical foundations in their lives to prepare them to follow Christ. On Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m., Sunday School is offered to provide age graded Bible study opportunities. We use the LifeWay curriculum with our school-age children. Children attend morning worship with their families at 11:00 a.m. Children's worship bulletins are provided to assist children as they participate in the worship service.

In the Fall each year the I'm A Christian Now! Class, published by LifeWay, is held for 4 weeks for 1st - 5th graders. This class is designed to help children understand about becoming a Christian and following Christ's example of baptism and the Lord's Supper and being part of the Church, as well as, spending time with God.

On Wednesday evenings at 5:45 p.m., girls are involved in Girls in Action (GA's) and boys are involved in Royal Ambassadors (RA's) as they learn more about mission action and the work of missionaries around the world. Children's choir is offered at 6:45 p.m.

Youth and Middle School Ministry

There are special Wednesday evening activities for our middle schoolers. Middle School Ministry at Rosemary Baptist Church is specifically for youth in grades six, seven, and eight. These are formative years in a person's development and we are keenly aware of the need for spiritual and social development during this stage of life.

Our Youth Group (9th – 12th grade) meets on Wednesday evenings where they have an opportunity to gain a greater understanding about their relationship to Christ and be better equipped to serve Him as they graduate from high school. Each year our youth also spend a week serving Christ through a mission/outreach trip. It is a chance for them to serve others as Christ did, through words and actions.
